The medieval village left today was founded
by Longobards.
Elevated
S.Saverino position, it is in higly strategic position,
in fact its castle (today still visible)
formed with that of Palinuro´s and
Molpa´s a defensive wall that reveled
of vital importance in the war Angioino Aragonese.
The village appeared
very simple , following
the main street arrive
in a room where an
old little church
dedicated to Santa
Maria
degli Angeli and
San Severino dates
from
the nineteenth century.
