Palinuro is one of places more charming of the Campania,
noteworthy above all for the beauty of its
coast and for the clearness of the sea, it
has into its territory
one of sea Caves of Europe.
Palinuro is noteworthy ever since ancient
time, thanks to the poem wrote by Virgil:
the
Eneide.
The writer told who

The Azure Cave represents the cavity more noteworthy to
Capo Palinuro, in it there are phenomenons
to refraction that they give at the water
a formidable tonality of azure, everything
reflected into the cave creating flashes
and lights that enchant and amaze the visitor.
In the cave lives
a particular sea fauna
attached at the going
up again to the hydrothermal
waters type sulphurous.
