The farmers´ craft has evolved and lead to activities which over time have taken on productive autonomy, from self-produced tools to specialisation in basket weaving (Alento), carpenters, blacksmiths (Busseto), masons (Vallo di Diano) and ceramicists (Montesella and Mingardo), who have handed down the ability to manipulate the materials naturally present in the area and developed it into artistic production.
And then there are the embroiderers from Lower Cilento and the craftsmen who work the Centola stone.
